THE AFRICA LEADERSHIP GOVERNANCE INITIATIVES
The African Leadership in Governance Initiatives was established to promote domestic resource mobilization for African development. A key priority for the Initiative is to advocate for partnership with the private sector that will see inclusive economic development and growth, the growth of African business, intra-African trade, and shared prosperity.

AFRICA LEADERSHIP IN GOVERNANCE AWARDS
The Africa Leadership in Governance Awards is an award to celebrate Quality Leadership in Governance of some selected African Personalities and Organisations who have made an impact in the development of the African economy through their leadership experience in different fields of endeavours
The winners would have made an outstanding contribution to the development of the continent, the economic aspiration of its citizens, and the transformation of Africa's image in the international arena. The Award brings together top government functionaries and high-ranking government officials from across Africa.
Based on verifiable criteria, gathered through voluntary disclosure and openly available data, we seek to rate Leaders / Institutions on their performance over the years in various aspects of leadership Governance.
The main purpose of this award is to encourage leadership Governance and engender competitiveness in Countries/States in Africa. This will bring about a better standard of living and greater welfare for all Africans. The criteria for winners have been carefully selected to give an unbiased and verifiable outcome as much as possible.
The result is that Leaders/Institutions/Organisations who have distinguished themselves in different fields of leadership Governance for recognition and celebrations.
